John Hubert

John Hubert joined Compass Group in 2022 and is focused on identifying, evaluating, and executing new investments. In addition, he’ll partner with the management teams of Compass Group’s portfolio companies to develop and implement long-term strategic plans.

Prior to joining Compass Group, John spent 12 years advising companies and their management teams on a range of transactions, including debt and equity financings, M&A, and restructurings. Most recently, John was a Vice President at PJT Partners (having joined its predecessor group at Blackstone in 2014) in the Restructuring and Special Situations Group. John began his career at Morgan Stanley and worked in various debt capital markets positions across the investment banking and sales and trading divisions.

John received his MBA from Columbia Business School with Dean’s Honors and a BS in Economics and Art History from Duke University, where he graduated cum laude.
